Glenturas successfully delivered all civil works on the Blackhillock Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) project. The scope included all concrete foundation works, cable ducting and containment, and final compound stoning.
Within the AIS (Air Insulated Switchgear) area, Glenturas completed the concrete foundations for two 275kV transformers, the AIS switching yard, control buildings, and fencing.
A significant drainage system was installed on site, including a large attenuation pond and a flow control system.
To meet the project’s demanding timeline, Glenturas partnered with a local precast supplier for rapid delivery of key components.
